On May 23rd, a delegation led by the President of Windesheim University of Applied Sciences, the Netherlands, visited CTBU. Prof. Sun Fangcheng, CTBU President and Prof. Gou Chaoli, Vice President met with the delegation and had discussions about further cooperation.
In his welcome address, Prof. Sun, extended the warmest welcome to the delegation. He said, friendship between CTBU and Windesheim had been promoted through the past ten-year cooperation and the two universities have been close strategic partners. He hoped the visit of delegation would bring more opportunities for cooperation in different fields.
Dr. Albert Cornelissen, President of Windesheim University, said it was a great honor to visit CTBU on the tenth anniversary of partnership. Windesheim and CTBU shared a lot of similarities in terms of model of talent training, scientific research and social service. He expressed strong wishes for further collaboration.
The two parties exchanged ideas on faculty and students exchange, credit transfer, discipline construction, scientific research and talent training and achieved agreement on the above issues. During their visit, the delegation would have meetings with different schools and explore the possibilities of collaboration.
During the past ten years, more than 300 students from Windesheim came to CTBU for exchange internship, and about 50 professors paid visits to CTBU and conducted short-term teaching or exchange programs.
