On June 2nd, the closing ceremonyof 2016 CTBU International Culture Exchange MonthandtheEighth CTBU Study and Culture Tour was held. Prof.Li Chunru,CTBUPartySecretary,Prof. Gou Chaoli, Vice President,leaders ofofficesand schools,all the participants from partner universities abroadandteacher and students representatives from CTBU attended the closing ceremony.
On behalf of CTBU, Prof. Li gave the closing speech. She extended congratulations on the success of the program and wishes that more exchanges would be carried out between CTBU and partner universities. Some of the foreign teachers and students shared their feelings and experiences at CTBU and expressed their love for the people, the campus and the city.
With the theme of “Forever Shining May”, the evening party was brilliant with chorus, dances, songs by faculty and students from partner universities and CTBU. Everyone present was moved by the diversity of culture and the talent and passion of the performers.
This year, about 180 faculty and students from 11 partner universities of 6 countries took part in the program. More activities were carried out to promote Chinese culture and exchanges between participants and their counterparts at CTBU. And more importantly, through the program, mutual understanding and friendship between CTBU and partner universities were deepened, and more possibilities of cooperation were explored.
