On April 19, Alan Wildeman, President of University of Windsor, Canada, and Dr. Liao Zhong, Cultural Commissioner of Canadian Consulate General in Chongqing visited CTBU. Prof. Sun Fangcheng, President of CTBU, and Prof. Gou Chaoli, Vice President of CTBU, met with the guests.
Prof. Sun Fangcheng expressed his warmest welcome to the guests and briefed CTBU, especially its international cooperation and exchange. Alan Wildeman spoke highly of CTBU’s achievement in internationalization and considered it a solid foundation for the future collaboration. He also shared the experience of the international exchange and cooperation inUniversity of Windsor. Later, the two sides discussed possible cooperation in scientific research, teacher training programs and student exchange programs. During the visit, the guests had a campus tour in the company of Prof. Gou Chaoli.
University of Windsor, founded in 1857, is a comprehensive public university with 16,000 students, offering 250 bachelor, master and doctor degree courses. It is also one of the universities with the largest proportion of international students in Canada.
