The School boasts a history of 21 years and offers four programs in Art Design, Industrial Design, Photography, and Animation.
The School has established broad cooperative
relationships with foreign and domestic art institutions. The School has
benefited from its in-depth vision and appropriate positioning while
drawing on the strengths of the Economics and Management programs at
CTBU. Likewise, the School has developed its own teaching/learning mode
featuring combinations of theory and practice, art and modern
technology, design art and marketing. Students can find jobs in design
agencies, universities, advertising companies, construction and
decorating companies and media business.
The School is situated in an especially constructed
facility which houses professional exhibition rooms, lecture halls, a
multi-function hall, multi-media classrooms, design workshops, CAD labs,
movie/television ad design labs, digital design and production center,
decorative picture workshop, He-Yi Garment workshop, animation
workshop, and more. The School enjoys fruitful cooperative links with
nationally renowned businesses such as Sichuan Changhong, Gree
Air-Conditioner, Loncin Motorcycle, Zongshen Group. Students can
develop their interests by participating in a variety of student
organizations such as the Photography Association and the Calligraphy
Association.
