The afternoon of Dec. 14th was full of happiness with 2015 CTBU International Student Talent Contest. From 20 countries, the students were grouped in elementary, intermediate and advanced levels according to their Chinese speaking fluency.
As the contest rule goes, each contestant should do self-introduction in Chinese, talent show and answer the questions in Chinese as well. The students presented traditional Chinese performances such as cross talk, opusculum, Chinese calligraphy, poetry recitation, speech in Chinese as well as some modern performances like singing Chinese popular songs, fan dancing, etc. And it was such a pleasant surprise to the audience considering that some of the international students only learned Chinese for half a year. The show gave the international students a stage to show their artistic talent and achievement in Chinese learning.
