From September 19 to 20, CTBU held the International Forum on New-type Urbanization and Low-carbon Development. Foreign experts from U.K. and U.S.A., domestic experts from Tsinghua University, Wuhan University and other universities, scholars from Energy Research Institute National Development and Reform Commission, National Center for Climate Change Strategy and International Cooperation, Chongqing Academy of Social Sciences and other scientific research institutes attended the forum.   

Prof. James Dulgeroff from California State University, Researcher Jiang Kejun, Director of Energy System research Laboratory of Energy Research Institute National Development and Reform Commission, Doctor Wang Sheng, Vice President of Chongqing Academy of Social Sciences and other experts from home and abroad delivered keynote speeches.

The forum provided a platform for experts in green low-carbon field to exchange ideas, brought intellectual support to Chinese government’s new-type urbanization policies, and further promoted CTBU’s research in low-carbon development.
