On May 31, with the last group of students boarding their return flight, 2015 CTBU International Cultural Exchange Month Concluded. The activity lasted for 3 weeks and over 80 participants from partner universities in America, Canada, the Netherlands, Thailand and UK took part in the event.
In the closing ceremony, Prof. Gou Chaoli, Vice President of CTBU, on behalf of CTBU, expressed her sincere wishes that every participant would harvest friendship here and there would be more students and teachers visiting CTBU for study and exchange in the future. Student representatives also remarked that the program was rewarding and it was a meaningful cultural journey. In the following evening party, students presented brilliant performances with cultural characteristics, bringing the show to a climax.
The program in 2015 focused more on the communication and interaction between foreign students and their Chinese counterparts. The participants observed CTBU classes, had cultural activities with CTBU students, attended Fashion Show by CTBU graduates, etc. And they were provided with chances to experience china’s social and economic development by visiting local enterprises, Chinese family and having presentations about Chinese culture and Chinese economic development. Meanwhile the program provided a platform for Chinese students to have exchanges with foreign students and experienced foreign culture.
