On April 22, the Hualong New Media School, jointly invested by both CQ News Net and CTBU was officially established.
As a mainstream media of Chongqing, CQ News Net enjoys reputation in the field of New Media nationally. In the collaboration, CTBU and CQ News Net will work together in the curriculum design in journalism, teaching material development, faculty and students practice and internship, thus providing support of talents and technology to the development of local media.
According to Prof. Cai Min, Dean of School of Literature and Journalism, the newly established school will take in those nationally-known new media enterprises as training bases, promote students entrepreneurship in practice and research in the new media by providing incubation platform, intelligence and financial support. And, jointly with CQ News Net, CTBU aims to develop Hualong New Media School into a well-known institution for new media talents cultivation and a new media training base in Western China.
